New single 'Holdin' Up' is a song about checking in and about keeping in contact, it finds the quartet in a gentler, more reflective mood, with a smooth and soulful feel in the same sonic ballpark as Springsteen's recent take on The Commodores' 'Nightshift'.

"From time to time people, friends, family drop into your mind and that’s as good an excuse as any to reach out to them – text, phone call… whatever," says songwriter Will Lebihan. "I don’t think we can underestimate the power of a short reach-out – what it might mean to those who receive it can be invaluable."

'Holdin' Up' is one of a few tracks on Sunshine State that feature keyboard legend Vaughn Jones (James Blundell, Troy Cassar-Daley etc) and sees Lebihan pulling out the fretless bass for the first time in a while, giving the track a real '80s production feel. Will adds, “years ago I used to play fretless quite a bit and I've kept the bass in my collection as it's such a great sound... though I did need to re-school myself in preparation for the sessions!"
